[Expired] 5% Back on select Bill Payments (select Chase cards)

The Deal

In addition to the spend bonus reported for airline and hotel co-branded Chase cards on Amazon and Grocery Store purchases, I have learned that Chase also has a spend bonus on their Amazon, Amazon Prime, Disney, and Disney Premier credit cards for select bill payments! These bill payments are for three categories of bill payments: (A) Internet, Cable, and Phone services; (B) Utilities; and (C) Insurance payments.

Key Things to Note

• All charges must be posted to your card between Nov. 1, 2020 and Dec. 31, 2020 in order to qualify.
• Must activate the offer by December 31, 2020 at 11:59 pm
• The TOTAL return is 5% per dollar spent, either in cash back or Disney Reward dollars, up to a total of $2,000 spend between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31

Worth It?

Since I don’t know of any credit card that has bonus rewards for Insurance payments, this is something that I will definitely be activating! There are a couple of cards that have bonus rewards on Utilities and/or the Internet, Cable, and Phone services, so if you have those, this might not be useful to you. Since I do not currently have one for Utilities, I will be using my card for these expenses also.
